Today our tree surgeons our in Norwich they are crown cleaning 2 mature Walnut trees… The trees have a lot of dead wood and crossing branches, the trees are also quite congested this is due to poor pruning cuts from previous so called tree surgeons.Chris one of are tree surgeons is climbing while Fred is clearing waste and watching out for Chris.
Whilst Chris was climbing he found some black staining probably caused by bracket fungi Inonotus hispidus, so we will go back later in the year to check for fruiting bodies.
