Today one of our teams of fully insured tree surgeons in Norwich Norfolk had to dismantle a Willow tree…
The job was to dismantle this Goat Willow over hanging a wall and a building.
The client had originally wanted the crown to be reduce but after inspection the base and finding some decay I eventually persuaded them that complete removal (Felling) would be the best option.
The tree was not in a conservation area and there was no TPO (Tree Preservation Order) so we booked the work in for the next available date as the client had concerns of the tree falling onto the wall.
The team arrived later that week to ready to remove the tree. The tree was to hazardous to climb and there was no access for a MEWP (Mobile Elevated work Platform) so we decided to climb a neighbouring tree to use as a anchor point from which to work from.
Today Chris was climbing so after completing the paperwork, risk assessment etc he started to make his way up the tree. The rest of the team were responsible for cross cutting and stacking brash ready for chipping later.
